Working in Singapore

In Singapore if you want to work you must be one of the following 1) Born as a Singaporean (must hold a valid Singaporean Identity Card) 2) Must be a Permanent Resident (must hold a valid PR identity card) 3) Must hold a valid employment pass 4) Must hold a valid S-pass (Skilled pass) 5) Must hold a valid Work permit (Construction, marine, Process Construction management, manufacturing) 6) Must hold a valid temporary exemption pass from MOM (Ministry of Manpower) 7) Must hold a valid IPA (In principal approval) & a valid SOC (Safety Orientation Course for Construction / manufacturing / marine / oil & petrochemical)based on the sector they employed All other forms of employment is considered as illegal and the violator shall be heavily penalized, canned and jailed.
